- Abnahme des Keimepithels (evtl. nur noch Sertoli-Zellen (Sertoli-Cell-Only))
- Verbreiterung der Basalmembran (evtl. Totalhyalinose der Tubuli)
- Vermehrung von Leydig-Zellen (Leydig-Zell-Hyperplasie)
- interstitielle Fibrose
32-year-old male; investigations for infertility revealed mildly elevated FSH levels.
Morphology:
- Small tubular diameter
- Reduction of germ cell epithelium (possibly only of the Sertoli cells)(Sertoli-Cell-Only)
- Broadening of basal lamina (possibly total hyalinosis of tubuli)(Tubuli)
- Increase in number of Leydig cells(Leydig-Zell-Hyperplasie)
- Interstitial fibrosis
